Ya know before this happened I had a good life.

I had too of the best friends a girl could ask for. Yes they were boy but I didn’t get along with girls so it made since. Girls are too well…Bitchy,I mean they could backstab you at anytime but with boys you don’t have that problem.

This is Peachy. He was Mr. Popular at school. Now remember when I said I don’t get along with the ‘popular’ clique that’s true but he is the only one that I don’t wanna cut. He flirts with all the girls he even tried to flirt with me a couple of times but a kick in the crotch fixed that.

This is Peachey's twin brother,Seashell. Peachey and Seashell are total opposites,Seashell is quiet and somewhat of a loner. Once he even told me that he’s afraid of being in Peachey’s shadow for the rest of his life.

And of course,me. Now like I said before people say I’m mean even though I hate the thought of being mean. I’m miss. loner at school I’d rather be in my room than to have a real life. I never had a boyfriend nor have I been interested in having one.

But tonight is prom night.Unlike some of my family I ‘m not gonna say ‘Oh daddy didn’t love me! Boo hoo! What did I do wrong?! Why me?!’ No because I don’t care if he loved me or not! I wouldn’t want his love if I had it anyway!

After a few curse words,burns, and more I was finally ready.

I went with Peachey and Seashell to the dance. Me and Seashell didn’t have an ‘official’ date but Peachey on the other hand just about every girl in school was breaking down his door to go with him! He turned them all down,but as to why I could never figure out. We all left when the slow songs came on. I refused to dance to a slow song with them.

“Hey Pearl?”

“Yeah?”

“I uh like you.”

“Really now?”

*gulp* “Yeah..”

“Good,because I like you too.”

“Really?!”

“Yeah dude so I guess this means were an item then?”

“I guess so.”

Yes my life was good. I had a boyfriend and a best friend. That’s all I needed.

I was walking home. It was early in the morning but foggy. I didn’t know what was about to happen to me.

I could have heard them. But I didn’t. I could have fought harder but I didn’t. They blindfolded me. They carried me into a van I think. I was kicking and screaming thinking that they were about to kill me. I heard a man yell “Please shut her up!” I heard another voice whisper in my ear saying “Sorry sweetheart this is gonna hurt.” The next thing I know is darkness. I was knocked out cold.
